I noticed that when I press the "unlock" button on my key fob twice, to unlock all four doors (for my family of four) that I routinely press twice too quickly and have to "slowly and deliberately" press twice while my family glowers at me for making them stand around in the (rain, cold, hail, snow, sleet, sun, heat, wind, *insert your own worst case here*) waiting to get in. It seems to take multiple tries, routinely, before I get anything other than the driver's door unlocked.
It's my first Caddy, bought new in 2006. I have had two Park Avenues with the same key fob, and three Olds 98's, but this was never an issue with any of them, although the fobs were identical to Cadillacs of the same vintage as I recall. They unlocked all four doors the same way but you could press the unlock button fairly rapidly and the doors would unlock.
Is it just me? Am I too impatient in my rapid button pressing? Wish I could program the fob like you can a conventional PC mouse button .
