Outside Temp reading

The outside temp reading gague on my 06 DTS seems to be stuck on 55 degrees. Is there a way to reset this gague, or is this another trip to the dealer problem.

I assume you have driven it and it stays on 55. It will not change if you just turn on the ignition.

I know of no way to reset it. It gets the temp from a sensor behind the grill and displays it on the ac panel. My guess is the sensor is probably bad so it would be a trip to the dealer.

Maybe someone else knows more about it than I do.

Thanks for the info. I'll have it repaired next time I go for routine maintenance.
