New 08 DTS NAV Radio Features vice the 05 NAV Radio Features

Ok so I got use to being able to select the Ambiance Sound on the 05. Could switch to Concert Hall, Talk, etc.

Have the 08 Platnium with NAV but the radio only allows "Talk", Driver, Rear or Trebble/Mid/Bass controls. The feature to set ambiance sound is grey'd out.

Anyone else discover this?

Apologize if this is in the wrong thread, as I am sure someone will let me know oh so quickly. I am also an Avalanche Owner and partake of their board as well. Just didn't know that Caddy Owners have the same set up. Thanks for letting me bounce the question!

Mine 2006 has SurroundSound. This only works on XM or when playing a CD.
It DOES NOT work on AM or FM... it is grayed out.

Thanks. Kinda a step backwards from the 05 Bose. Oh well it is still a very nice ride!
