The picture is from this Ebay auction. |

Just my 2 cents. Doug_j |

It's definitely something I wouldn't want to emphasize with chrome.... |

Doug_j | Those pictures are not of my car. I was looking to see if anyone has installed these on their car and can speak to the quality of these chrome strips. |

Chrome plated stainless is fine. If the ad does not say stainless - stay away from them. Since it says will never rust, balah blah blah in the ad, I am guessing they are "plastic chrome". While true, it will not rust, I would not put plastic chrome on my vehicle because I will know they are plastic - even if everyone else is fooled. Also, I know you did not ask, but I also agree that they detract from the car's visual appeal. |

That's all I know about it. I have seen chrome stick-on stripping at an auto parts store, but I don't know if this is the same thing. That's why I posted - I was hoping someone here had already tried this and could offer feedback.
Rapid Roger - you and I think alike. I am also thinking of an E&G mesh grill with this. This really isn't a mesh-look grill, though. |

A wider lower grill and narrower upper grill might look odd.
If E&G could come up with a lower grill that had some body-color cover-ups to make the grill seem narrower, that could look nice. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
