1999 Deville / Northstar Performance SureGrip studs installed

    1999 Cadillac Deville 4 door 145,702 miles
    VIN: 1G6KD54Y3XU773044

This vehicle has been owned since new by my family. My late great-uncle purchased this car and drove it until he departed. My dad took ownership and drove it until it started to have the notorious "Northstar overheating problem" (Google it). It sat for a year until I discovered Northstar Performance (http://northstarperformance.com) out of Canada who has a patented repair solution, the SureGrip Stud used worldwide. The car was transported to Canada to have the engine removed, the SureGrip studs installed, and all of the outer oil seals replaced with the updated and non-leaking seals. This cost me $2200 total. The owner of the company, Jacob Wiebe, performed the repairs himself and warranties his head repair for 100,000. The engine has run flawlessly since and I have racked up over 20,000 miles since. This car is in excellent shape and everything works. The air conditioning is very cold, all of the bells and whistles work just fine like the air ride suspension. Power everything (locks, windows, mirrors, radio antenna, trunk release, fuel door, etc.). The only issue is the fuel sending unit sometimes doesn't give accurate information. The "Gallons Used" in the Driver Information Center in the dash works perfect and is very accurate. I just reset it every time I refuel it. I have no need for this car as I drive about 35,000 miles a year and I bought a diesel sedan a while ago. This car will get 25MPG at 65MPH on the freeway. I know this because I put most of those 20,000 miles going up and down I-75 to Upper Michigan.

    Notable repairs completed:
    -Engine work by Northstar Performance
-Torque converter replaced by Don Massey Cadillac when my dad was driving it ($3000)

    What repairs/maintenance does this need?
    -Front brakes & rotors
-Tires all around (by my standards, they are NOT bald at all)
    -Fuel tank sending unit

    Damage?
    -Some scratches
    -Some dings
-Tiny rust spot on hood size of a dime

    Documentation:
    -Original owners manual and paperwork
    -Window sticker
-Dealer service history (may be at my other house up north)

    Price?
    $2500 OR Best Offer.
Title in hand, no liens, ready to sell. This is a very fair asking price even considering it needs tires and brakes.

Terms? I am NOT a dealer. Cash or verified local bank funds in US dollars. All sales final, no refunds. No warranty provided or assumed. I follow all rules set by the Michigan Secretary of State. In fact, I will meet you at any local Secretary of State to complete the transaction. I am also available to export this to Canada ONLY. No Nigerian scam artists please; I will not ship this car overseas. I will not accept foreign checks. This is not my first rodeo.
