| | Cadillac Owners Member Cadillac(s): Cadillac deville | | Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Miami fl | | | blown head gasket for 2years... 97 deville well the car was good for 3 month since a bought it. after that the radiator broke, then the water pump, alternator, termostat, cooling fan, fuel pump, brakes, tensor, Iac sensor, belt, ac compressor, all this in 6 month. i love my pearl white caddilac i have spend alot of money on her and to make things worst the heads blow. (water in oil ) i have the car parked for 2 years in my house with coolant mixted with oil. to fix her but i need help on that i would love to see her running again.  |

Wait and see what one of our resident experts have to say. You may be looking at replacing the bearings as well as the head gaskets. |

Either way, sitting for two years without being run is a very bad thing. If there is water in the engine, then it is most definately toast. If there was no water, then all the oil is gone from the upper part of the engine and it would be suicide to even consider cranking it without some preliminary surgery. Since you live in Florida I am assuming that the car is beautiful otherwise. I would buy a warrenteed engine for 3000 us and install it. |
