All Black (chromeless) 97-99 Deville, what model?

Hi, I'm new to these forums, but I've been considering picking up a Deville & have a question about one I saw rolling through the car wash here in Troy, MI last week.

It was a 97-99 Deville that was all black, no chrome grille, window trim or side trim, it was all blacked out.

I've been having no luck searching for 3 days online trying to find out what model it was or if there was a special mono chromatic package or something that was offered on the later years of the 11th generation deville that came without the chrome. I'm going crazy trying to figure out what model it was, unless it had been modified and repainted all black, but it looked totally stock.

Any insight in this matter would be apreciated.

Definetly not stock, that guy must have but alot of cash in that car. Woulda loved to see it.

The 97-99 Deville with the least amount of chrome was the Concours. It wasn't all blacked out, but it had a lot less chrome than the base Deville or Deville D'Elegance.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. That would make sence, because it was debadged and had newer style wheels on it too.

I was guessing he might have painted the grille & trim, but I wasn't sure if there was any kind of DTS or touring package they did a limited run of in 99 or something.
It was wierd though cause it didn't even have the caddy badge on the grille but it had a small flat circular one on the hood & all the trim on the trunk was black too. Anyway it looked really good, I'll just have to keep an eye out for a nice concours maybe.
