Arrow 22's on a Cadillac!?

Remove this ad

I've been wanting to upgrade my shoes and socks for a while now but i as well as many others are concerned about the Jump. That being the ultimate question: "20's or 22's?" Now i've done countless research on cardomain.com.
There are tons of peepz ridin 22" rims. Some say with Rub.. Some just dont say nothing! lol.. But 1 thing alwayz remains the same, Tha peoples wit 22's... They seem like they couldnt be happier... Rub or No Rub... So i just got used to the idea of dealin wit it. Rub is un-avoidable even with 20's so its all a matter of limiting the Rub as much as possible.

I unlike many others have made up my mind.. 22's it iz. My reasons being that if imma do it, might as well go Big.. That Being said, now comes the hard part. Tire/Rims combination. I've researched a couple of the Top 5 Deville/DTS owners on Cardomain. Some successfull combo's are the 255/30/ZR22 94W
which are the Nitto lo pro tires. The second combo is 235/30/R22 97W made by Falken and another company.

Now as u can all see.. People are not only doin it... But doin it Well.

Please leave some of your comments and feedback. As well as if you got 22's dropped on ya thang post some pics Let us know how You Doin it.

Let me know what yall think about 22's on a Lac!

Re: 22's on a Cadillac!?

Those all look really nice, but how bad will those affect the ride quality and gas mileage?

Re: 22's on a Cadillac!?

I am planning on putting 22's on my Deville as well. I spoke with a friend of mine who works at a tire shop and he said that as long as you go with 8.5 instead of 9 inch by 22 you will not rub. I think the look is worth it. Just be on the look out for pot holes, cuz there is no side wall. When I put 24's on my Yukon, I wished I had put 26's. I don't want to put on 20's and wish I had done 22's. Just like the 24's, they stiffen the ride and take away from the gas mileage but, it cost to be the BOSS. They might cost more but, you got to pay to play.
