I found a 97(?) Deville Concours of the same body/interior type in a wrecking yard and it has the analog style display, I'm wondering if I can swap that in my car and still fit/works just fine?
I also found a 2001 SLS that has a wood steering wheel, can I swap mine with it? |

Heres the deal... the '97 BASE DeVille is using the dash from the '92-'95 Seville/Eldo... so... the gauge cluster from a N* powered '92-'95 Seville/Eldo will physically fit, and probably hook up.... but, the difference is the computer.... '96 switched to OBDII, The '92-'95 analog cluster ended life in..... '95.... I don't know if it will communicate with the OBDII system, tho it is possible, you would have to give it a shot. |

Ya I wasn't sure if it was a 97, 98 or 99, all I know is it has the shifter in the center console and the interior looks just like mine...or so I rememberd.
Well how about the woodgrain steering wheel of a 2001 SLS? I don't know if Cadillac changed their steering wheel bolt pattern but they look pretty much the same. |

In some ways that is. I like analog gas gauge though. Okay my question is i have a 97 caddy deville with digital cluster and it looks like it has been cracked and some messed up numbers i cant tell how many miles my car has. So i fount another digital cluster same 97 caddy deville from ebay looks just fine if not better i wonder if i can change it without haveing it reprogrammed, it came off of a 97 caddy with 67.000 miles and mine has about 98,000. I also would like to know how to take my dash board out so i can change it and see for myself. I found the screws under the defrost vent but after that i have no idea what to do. Any diagrams would be nice. Any idea? Thanks |

a wood wheel for an ELDO ONLY will work on a 95-99 Deville
a Seville wheel while will bolt up uses a completely different bag and wheel control system it wont work
and in case you havent noticed the cluster on a base has the a/c controls on it, the cluster on a concourse with analog has the a/c controls mounted beneath the radio
neither of these swaps will work |
