Reverse Light Switch

Okay, my reverse lights are not working on my 1999 Deville. I have removed the unit and the bulbs are fine. There is no power getting to them. The fuse appears fine as all other controls using that fuse are working, such as the license plate light and the mirror.

I have examined all wires and they appear intact. I can only conclude that the switch is defective (out of adjustment?).

Can anyone tell me where the switch is located and how it can be adjusted or removed?

Sincere thanks in advance.

Have you checked the wiring at the hinge area, that is known issue with wiring breaking from all the bending over the years. IIRC the bcm turns them on when told to from pcm? The position sensor is on the trans but it the dash is displaying the correct gear it more than likely not bad.
My money is on the hinge wiring...
