Is there a way of finding out production units...

...of a specific option? I ask because I own an 04 DHS with the digital dashboard which was an option in that model. It shows up in the build sheet so it is orginal. I thought I would try to find out just how many of these abominations are out there??? I can't believe someone paying for that.

The recent chat about display swapping got me thinking...yes, a dangerous prospect at best my friends but I am curious nonetheless about how many of these cars were made...got one?

it used to be free - now it costs $ -

    put your VIN in -
it showed all the options on your car -
and how many other 04 DHS models had that same option -

The digital dash people are the same ones that walk around 24/7 with a smartphone stuck to their head.

I prefer the digital dash. Both my 97 and my 04 have it.

I kinda like the digital dash in my '95. I like how the temp gauge will say "225 deg F" rather than "getting a little warm"

Technically, though, all dashes now are digital. Whether you have needles that spin around, or segmented LED displays, there is no rotating cable entering the back of your cluster making that speedometer move.

Swapping the analog cluster for the digital or visa versa is a no brainer.

Getting one with the mileage close or programmed with the correct mileage is the issue.

    ----------

I prefer the analog cluster with the sweeping needles......

I also love the fact when I put my foot in it, I can see the tach run through the rpm range.........
