    From an STS, no.

I assume you want analog gauges?

What's the difference of the 98-02 STS cluster versus the 00-02 dhs, dts cluster?

I believe you can swap a DTS or DHS DIC into a base Deville. I seem to recall Logan doing it in his "Fake DTS" conversion and saying it was plug n play.

I think Edy is looking to convert a digidash to analog.

    =====================
    YES -
the cluster from a 2000+ Seville STS - SLS -
or Deville DHS - and DTS - will all work -
    and are "plug-n-play -

    HOWEVER -

mileage is stored in the cluster -
and ONLY a certified speedo shop can change it - $200 -
    a dealer/TECH2 can NOT change mileage -

the solution is to buy a cluster with similar mileage -
most sellers on ebay include the current mileage -

    ----------------------

another problem is the options that came on the donor -
compared to the options on your car -

if the donor car had TPMS - Tire Pressure Monitor System -
and your car does not -
every time you turn the ignition ON -
you will get the DIC warning SERVICE TIRE MONITOR -
because the cluster "knows" the option is there -
but it has not "checked-in" -

    scrolling through the "INFO" button
would also include the tire pressure for each tire -

    ------------------

other options affect the code scanning process -

if the donor car had "active suspension" -
and your car does not -
you will get codes for active suspension parts not "checking-in" -

    -----------------

this is easy to "fix" - with a trip to the dealer -
a TECH2 tool CAN change all the options stored in the cluster -
the trick is to FIND a dealer willing to try it -

    Re: interchange instrument panel

I guess I got lucky with the DTS cluster I acquired.

I have two currently. One with 50K too many miles, and the one in the car I had to wait till I had 155k to install it.

No warning messages, zip zilch nada.

The worst part to the swap was disassembling the dash......

    Re: interchange instrument panel

Something to think about ............. from birth we are "trained" to recognize spatial/graphic differences instantly - it's an offshoot of instinct. A digital anything - watch, instrument panel, GPS - requires the thought process of see, recognition, numerals, brain process, "too hot". An analog display is instantly recognizable as good or bad, time, location.

The button pushers and techies like things glitzy and numeric. Analog displays generally do not have to be "looked at" to make a go-no go decision.

what you mean with "active suspenssion"
the DTS model deville has F45 / FE3 electronic - or active - suspension system -
the struts and shocks are constantly changing from soft to stiff - electronically -

the BASE and DHS model Deville does NOT have this -
