'98 & '99 Fleetwood Limited

I just purchased a '98 Fleetwood Limited through ebay. It is in transit from CT to CA; I am anxious to get it. The car only has 24,000 miles and came from an estate. It seems to have sat in a garage for the last 3.5 years while the estate was in probate. This car's colors are black/black.

The car has two options, WC7 and the trunk mounted 12-disc cd player. It does have the limosine and all of the heavy duty coach builder options.

'99 Fleetwood Limited VALUE? I am negotiating to buy a '99 Triple black,with 80K, fair paint, a few dings, droopy replacement mufflers with non-stock looking tailpipes, one broken antenna, non-working TV, slightly cracked cornering light, slight rolling vibration at idle ( could be exhaust related or AC cycling). Good points above average interior and cloth top, twin tables, VCR (cond unknown), mustard and mayo w/chrome wheels (missing one cap). Velcro secured footrests (are these original ?) Any opinions on fair market on the west coast??? I appreciate all your help and humor.

All the '98s got 6 lug wheels. Also, by looking at the auction pics, I know you have the factory 6 lug wheels.

Considering what they were going for in Southern Cal last October, I'd say around $6000, probably less considering the problems you mentioned. This is based on '99s with 20-40k fewer miles and great paint going for $9-11k.

I sure would like a pair of black velcro attached rear footrests in perfect condition. I contacted Superior and they do not have any more. Anyone have any black ones they would sell or give away? Also, I would like to install the rear gooseneck reading lights that mount on the rear package tray. Again, anyone have any they would sell or give away? Call me at 909-227-0202 ... thanx

Thanks for the information KC. Ragarding footrests the ones I saw in a '99 should be able to be made a your local upholstery shop.
