    New here and need 4t80-e help in a bad way

    Hi all I'm a new caddy owner from nor cal and am a BIG diy'er ... I am attempting to replace the a/b solenoids as well as the tcc... a full diagram and breakdown would be greatly appreciated... thank u in advance

    MANY special procedures and torque values, as well as tricky transmission removal - the torque converter has to come out.

    It's a GM shift solenoid upgrade kit. I think your car already has it.

    www.alldatadiy.com and.or a GM service manual set from eBay or www.helminc.com.

    To post the entire procedure here would take a post the size of a NYC telephone book.......... seriously.

    Why are you replacing the TCC solenoid?
    Do you have a P0741 & P1860 code or just a P0741 code?

    Im getting a p0734 code ... incorrect 4th gear ratio.. also getting the stalling when slowing ... now car don't even wanna move

    Sounds to me like you need a reputable trans shop or a junkyard replacement.
