hi i have a 94 deville with about 180000 miles and there has been a clicking noise on the engine bay.Ive tryed listening to it by ear to see where its coming from and it' sounds like its coming the back right area where where the distributor or the right bank of the cylinder area somewhere right there im not sure.its been getting louder as the days pass by..And than when i accelerate by moving the throttle calbe the clicking noise just goes faster.i dont know what the problem is or how to fix it. ..i can post up a video of it to better help you understand what im talking about.. thanks..
what could be some possible problems?i know its coming from somewhere on top of the engine.Do these models have comming problems in the upper end area like the lifters?
I have the exact same problem. I even put up a video to this site once of the sound it makes. I also have a 94 4.9l The noise sometimes just starts outta nowhere and I noticed that it gets louder or softer depending on the direction that the wheels are facing.
