    Thumbs downFuel Odor

It seems whenever I fill the tank I can smell gas when I have the thing parked and I can smell it inside the car. It gets less prominent when the level drops to 3/4 of a tank, but I can occasionally smell it coming from the front of the car. Suggestions/ideas?

I bet you have a leaky line somewhere......! DUH i guess....

The trick is going to be finding it! Once you have a location, it should be fairly easy to fix it!

Could also be the EVAP system acting up. Maybe your charcoal canister is saturated.

2DFX..........Since you live in snow and salt land
(like me!). You may have a rotted gas line !

To find out.......get access to compressed air and
a blower nozzel end. Wrap a rag around the nozzle
and insert into fuel filler. Put a little pressure to it.
    And look for leaks............

I used this method for some of my dying winter rat
cars. Most turned out to be a rotted fuel line in the
frame rail. And ya sure can smell the gas but not see it....................geo
