    transmission question

in the morning on my 91 sedan deville when i first put it in gear in does not go, after i rev the engine I will then go. No error codes but runs fine after that. It also make a poping sound when I rev the engine up to a hi rpm which sounds like it coming for the tranny. Any ideal of what the problem may be?

    Re: transmission question

My 93 maked the popping noise when I first got it, when you rev the car up you build up more pressure in the tranny, so it goes into gear. Basically, the tranny is shot, get out your checkbook, mine cost me 1000, and I had it done. They arent worth messing with yourself, its too much work. Take it from me, I have owned 9 Caddys, and my 90 deville since 92.

    Take care, Jack
