    electrical gremlin with convenience items

So yesterday the wife tells me that the fuel door release, trunk release and garage door opener are all not working. The trunk will not release from the key fob either. I used the key to open the trunk and then pulled the fuel door release to get gas into the car. After work I plan on checking the fuses but I just looked at a map of the fuse box and it looks like these items are not all on the same fuse? I searched this forum and didn't see anything specifically about this. Any other ideas that I need to look at?

Open the glove box, turn the valet switch off.

I already checked that switch but maybe I need to follow those wires since that was my first thought as well.

    How is your battery voltage?

That is always the first question that pops into my mind when I hear "electrical gremlins"

battery is only a few months old but I am thinking that the valet switch might be the culprit. When I checked it I moved it into valet and then back but I do not remember hearing a click and know that I am thinking about it it also felt "soft" with no resistance. That will be the first thing that I look at after work.

just to update all. My valet switch was knocked out of its seated position, so when it was switched at was not making good contact. Once I played with it and got it back into proper position. It worked fine and made a loud click when moved between positions. Problem solved. Every family member has denied touching this switch so I can not explain how it ended up being in that state but that is another story.
