    1993 Deville, Doors Unlock Themselves

    Hello Everyone,

I am writing this post so I can get advice to solve an electrical problem that my 1993 Deville is having.

The power locks on all four doors will unlock themselves while I am driving and also when I leave the car sitting for any period of time.

I attempted to fix the problem by disconnecting the keyless entry module (somewhere online suggested this might work). This did not work.

Has anyone encountered this problem and/or know how to fix it?

    Thanks for considering my issue,
    Jay

Start by pulling the DTC's. Post them AND their definitions.

    First code: ..E
I understand this to mean that the onboard diagnostic is telling me that it will be displaying error codes from the electronic control module.

    2nd code: E52
Memory reset. This is b/c I unplugged the negative terminal when I removed the keyless entry module.

    Final code: .7.0
This simply means the onboard diagnostic system is done displaying error codes

Mine did tht one time and the trunk and gas door poped turned out bad battery. The voltage gets to low and the caddys electronics go crazy. To be on the safe side check your alts voltage regulator
