Vogue Tyres - are they worth anything?

Anyone here have any experience with Voque Tyre's? Are they just a tire with a yellow stripe or are they really that good? I have been told by some friends that they are the cat's meow. Just curious as Ive seen them on cars just never had any need to look into them.

    VOGUE TIRES SUCK -

Are they just a tire with a yellow stripe
no - they are a CRAPPY tire with yellow stripe -

I have been told by some friends that they are the cat's meow
some think they are pretty - and because they are so expensive -
they convince themselves they are a great tire -

they ride hard - wet traction absolutely SUCKS -
and unless you clean those whitewalls daily - they look like crap -

save your money - and get a MUCH BETTER set of tires -

I cannot speak for their quality, but IMHO they are over hyped and over priced. You'd be MUCH better off with a set of Michelin's.

Sure, they're "worth" big bucks. Are they any good is the question.

    "Look what I got ..........."

(Curious - apparently, a while back, Vogue bought a significant share of E&G Classic........ which just declared bankruptcy)

I'm on my second set, this set on my Eldorado and the other set were on my Buick.
I love them. Not a single complaint from me

There are much cheaper tires that ride and handle much better.

That seems to be the consensus around here anyway. I'm just too cheap to get them so never had the mispleasure of rolling on them. They do look unique tho. I heard they are also a real bitch to keep clean.

I've had good experience with the vogue all seasons which has a thin white strip and retails for 150 got mine for 110 there pretty good tires now for the expensive mayo and mustard's I've heard a lot of negative things about them more so because there over 200 a piece and should be better and while there nice they look like crap very fast and are very hard to clean metallic brakes make em worse as the whitewall has a pattern in it my preference for a great tire goes from 1 to 5 of the best tire companies bridgestone Michelin Goodyear continental and pirelli though I am a big michelin fan

When I bought my '03 DHS, it came with Vogues. Got rid of them soon after and installed Michelins. The Vogues just were not as quiet nor smooth-running as the Michelins.

Re: Vogue Tyres - are they worth anything?

I have several sets on my current cars, I did mainly buy them for appearance. But I've had NO trouble from them. I also have several CADILLACS because of the way they look though.

I choose to go with Michelin's Symmetry over anything else. The tire salesman pretty muched echoed what was said here.

My first set developed bulges in two of the four tires. Am on my second (car only has 82K miles) and only got them cause pretty wife likes them.
