    Unhappy keyless entry 1994 deville

I have just bought a new keyless entry for my 1994 deville. I have instructions to ground the black and white wire connected to the truck module. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Thanks for the site, got it booked marked already. That where I got the instructions on how to program the key,
    Turn ignition on
ground single black wire connector located at trunk pull down unit.
wait for door locks to lock and unlock
press unlock on keypad twice, repeat if only one keypad
    unground black wire
It really dosen't say how to ground the wire, so I stripped the black wire
keeping it connected and alligator cliped the bare wire to the ground on the
    antenna, nothing happened.

Whenever it says to ground, that means you can stick it on any metal piece that is in some way connected to the body directly..... Doesnt have to be a body piece, but it needs to at least touch one....

What did the end of the black wire look like before you stripped it???

It is attached to the relay that locks and unlocks the trunk with a connector.
I didn't cut the wire just the casing, its copper.
