If you've seen any of my past threads, I'm still battling random weirdness on my 95 Deville.

It started with occasional failure of the dash HVAC fan to blow. Next was Traction Disabled warning light staying on. Later the cruise control started working intermittently and now is completely off. Now the Trunk Open warning light is on all the time.

Throughout the process there has been a multitude of codes, most of these codes have to do with PCM communication failure. I've cleaned grounds, cleaned fuses, tried a different ECM, checked the EBTCM connections. So far nothing has changed.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Is the battery in good condition? A bad battery will cause glitches in the electrical systems.

Yeah, what's the voltage reading on your DIC with the engine off? Preferably after being off for at least 30 minutes.

You may get more help in the front wheel drive section.

No voltage readout option on the DIC. Just oil change life, etc. What are you thinking?

Not from the factory. That can be fixed, however.

It's easy. I've done it on mine. It adds Battery Voltage, Engine RPM, and Coolant temp to your DIC display options.

    Re: 1995 Deville electrical weirdness

So this morning I swapped out the battery with a spare and cleaned the terminals.

    Here's what happened:
    -Interior lighting still doesn't work
-Drove for 5.9 miles..."cruise engaged" light comes on when button is pushed but cruise no-workey
-At 5.9 miles "trunk open" and "traction disabled" lights came back on.

When I got to work I did a quick code pull out of the CCC:
    P052
    I032
    I052
    T072
    T077
