Night Vision never worked well, rarely works at all now, dealer/warranty gave up.
It has eaten power window regulators, have replaced 5 in under 2 years, yes one door has already failed twice, and RF door window is again making that warning sound...
A/C has been repaired once, and now, rear A/C is blowing warm.
Top dash pad is curling badly at both left and right edges.
2 out of 4 seat heaters have been replaced.
Remote key fob #1 frequently needs to be reset.
RR door sometimes locks/unlocks in unison with the other 3 doors, sometimes not.
This is my second, and likely last, Caddy. I'm 44 years old, and not an aggressive driver at all, these are great cars when it's all going good, but they are high maintenance once they have a few years and miles on them... |

How do u obtain that kind of mileage? The only way I can get 27 is to park it in my driveway! I get about 340 miles to a tank, or about 20 mpg. I drive 2 hr to work (hr up and hr back) a lot of highway Rt 2 (55 to 70 mph) and Rt 495 (65 to 75 mpg) in mass. |

Clunky Intermediate Steering Shaft - replaced under warranty
Rear Electronic suspension failed: replaced shocks, compressor and dryer - my cost, factory warranty expired - $1400
crank sensors - replaced under warranty
airbag control unit - replaced under warranty
water pump - replaced under warranty
torque converter failure - replace torque converter and overhaul transmission under warranty
Should of bought the extended warranty, I am afraid about what happens next.

I don't know how it does it but I've verified it using the math (not just the on-board computer). That is on long trips, I fill up then drive ~2.5 hours and stop to take a break and fill up again and check the milage. It comes out to about 27 most times. |

Had a new instrument control panel, intake replaced("eating" small amount of coolant?), new battery, passenger side mirror fixed twice(wouldn't go up and down), and had to have mine road force balanced to get it to ride OK...
Love the car, but am definitely pleased I bought certified.

2k1 base Deville approx 80k mi.
I purchased the Car for 6k and knew it had a few problems I.E... Oil pan leaking, valve cover gasket leaking, and a couple of sensors gone bad. other than that the car is great and i dont know what took me so long to cross over to the Cadillac side. I plan on cloning the Deville into the Dts |
