How to tell if I have " electronic adjustable suspension " ?

After getting the wheels spin balanced, the guy mentioned to me the rear shock was leaking fairly bad. I had noticed the rear end sway abnormally after running over some potholes, so I wouldn't doubt it.

While looking online to buy a pair of shocks, I noticed this disclaimer:
    "Except electronic adjustable suspension"

How do I tell if I have this feature? Just bought the car ( 2001 Deville DHS ), so I don't know much about it.

If you have a DHS you most likely do not have electronic suspension. DTS models came with it. To be 110% certain, check your car's RPO code sticker. You can find it inside the trunk on the inside of the spare tire cover. The suspension code will begin with "FE" followed by a number. Take that and compare it to this site posted by another member: http://aplsweb.com/Topics/TopicPix/RPO.pdf

FYI: "FE1" indicates non electronic suspension. See circled area on attached photo. I just replaced my factory air shocks with a set of Monroe MA822's so this is fresh in my head. They were a direct replacement and accept factory air lines will connect without modification.

Are the $57 shocks "air" leveling or coil spring overloads? Seems awful cheap for new air shocks. $25 each?

Monroe MA822's are direct replacements with the air assist. I just installed a set in mine and my wife's '05 LeSabre last summer. I believe I paid $52 & $55 respectively INCL shipping from http://www.autopartstomorrow.com/

FYI: "FE1" indicates non electronic suspension
    incorrect -

FE1 refers to the "soft ride" suspension -
FE3 would be the RPO code for "firm" or "sport" suspension -

it refers to the stiffness and size of springs and sway bars -
has nothing to do with electronic - or passive -
    ------------------

F45 is the RPO code for "electronic" struts and shocks -
    "CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE REAL TIME DAMPING"
or CVRSS - Continuously Variable Road Sensing Suspension"

    ALL FE3 equipped cars came with the F45 - electronic shocks/struts -
there were cases of FE1 equipped Devilles also having the F45 option -
I believe these were mostly for export -

and - just for the record -
F55 is the magnaride system -
they all have the FE3 suspension -

again - just for the record - F55 was never available on a Deville -
I am simply clearing up various RPO codes -

so - if you do not have either the F45 or F55 RPO codes -
you have "passive" - or non-electronic struts and shocks -
