how do I adjust the headlights on my 03 DTS?

Long story short I replaced my headlight assemblies because they were dusty looking. I just plugged the new ones in without even aligning them first. I still have my old assemblies and think its that long verticle screw which I noticed adjusts with a torx driver. . Just wanna make sure im not missing anything else.. ill try to attach a pic of what I mean.

That's it. There are two. One for vertical and one for horizontal adjustment.

if your original assemblies were properly aligned then the replacements will be, too. The alignment specs, procedures, and diagrams are in the owner's manual.

There are two white plastic adjusters that accept a torx head. One on each side of the rubber hood bumper. One has a scale. I think that one might be the horizontal adjuster.

Look at the middle picture in this link and you can see the two adjusters. They seem to be missing the white plastic caps that mine has.

The right picture in this one shows the white plastic that I see on mine.
