Check battery and connections, you could have fried something. Check fuses(Maxi's too) and might check the codes too.

I checked all the fuses on the car that I could find. Not sure where the Maxi fuses are.

Can't recall for sure, but maybe up by the firewall on the passengers side? The owners manual will tell you for sure.

The new battery is no longer fully charged after only 1 night.
Have to recharge battery then will check maxi fuses I believe under the hood by reservoir tank. How can I tell if the relays are bad? The fuse will be broken but the relays?

Still need help new battery but car will not crank or start. The strange thing is that the battery seems to drain quickly. I gave car a boost when I put key in ignition during boost the lights inside were bright. Then when I turn they turned dim. After that the power seems to be drained. Any ideas?

I think you need to put a 12v test lamp in line between the negative cable and the battery terminal. If you have a voltage draw it should illuminate. Start pulling fuses until it goes out. Then you'll know what circuit or component to concentrate on.

You can take the motor off the trunk pull down and screw down the mechanism and leave the motor unplugged and it will work like a regular car trunk.
