Yes, the battery is fully charged and there's no need to raise the charge output. Try leaving the lights on for a half hour and immediately read the battery voltage at the battery posts once you restart it. The best test is not voltage but amperage. A shop can measure voltage output but can also load test the battery to see if amperage increases as more load is applied as the car runs. If the alternator is, say, a 100 amp unit, it should be able to produce almost 100 amps under extreme load. 13.5 is only .7 volts away from an ideal charging voltage output.

Yea, the highest it got to was 13.9

but i thought proper charging voltage for my car running was 14v/14.4v???

walmart tested the battery and it had a 680ish cca (650 cca battery) and a 13.1 charge

my old dead and gone battery usually sat between 14/14.4v (car running)

jus wanna be sure its ok???

14.4 is an ideal max voltage output. Anything past that will burn out bulbs quickly. Again, you need a LOAD test done to confirm the alternator amperage output is within spec. And the reason the old battery read 14.4 was because the alternator was its life support! It was trying to keep the old battery up.
