Rear view mirror with compass reads 180 degrees off

Installed a rearview mirror from a 99 Deville in my 96 Deville and after calibrating it at least 15 times, getting C in the mirror and driving in circles less than 5mph in both cw and ccw, it still reads 180 out. Is there a fix for this?

Was it a junkyard mirror? Maybe it was bad? I've never heard of that before.

Bought from reputable dealer. Does anyone know of a manual reset or some way to correct this?

There should be some sort of button on the bottom that you can push, I think, for a full reset. Check the back of the mirror (Or the owner's manual).

I thought it was just the calibration. Never heard of that problem before.

I don't recall any reset buttons.

I could be wrong. I thought there was a pin hole on the back.
