There are TONS AND TONS of options. What are you going for? A basic upgrade? Something with decent sound and some bass? A high end SQ system? How much do you want to spend?

A few hundred for speakers AND amps?? That's not going to get you much. Were you planning on a sub?

2 15" subs?!?! That's way, way WAY overkill for what the rest of your system will end up being with your budget.

Honestly, sell them, and get a used 12" or dual 10" setup.

As for speakers, you could get 2 sets of Focal Access component sets for ~$300. Focal makes some EXCELLENT high end drivers. Access is their entry level line, but it's just as good as some other companies' higher end stuff.

The HU is part of the serial data bus and anti theft system. To install an aftermarket one, you'll need a Metra GMOS-06 integration module, and a separate module to retain steering wheel controls, if the new HU supports it.

I'd say save put the money towards the amp and speakers first.

A name brand 4 channel amp, ~400 watts would be plenty of power. A used JL would be a good amp for the money. Everyone's going to have their own opinions on brand, but they make some high quality stuff.

On my 03 DTS I replaced deck wit an alpine usb deck (had bose already) unplugged stock sub and have 2 jl w1v3 subs with a 500 watt jl amp maybe $1500 total its been 4 years just switching subs out yearly

    ----------

For some quality sounded speakers try hertz if I ever decide to trash my bose I would replace it with those.. and since you dont have bose you wouldnt necessarily have to replace all speakers at once as someone with bose would
