2004 base Deville - GPS radio advice ?

For my car named Maria ...........

I have a totally stock unit with xm and the 6 cd changer in the glove box. I am thinking about a pioneer for a couple of reasons

    Bluetooth phone
    navigation built in
rear view camera (in leau of parking sensors)
1/8 jack for phone or Zune.

I have looked at a lot of options to do these 4 things but replacing the head unit seems to do all of them. Any suggestions advice would be appreciated. Also is there a front end unit (besides factory) that will allow the 6 disk changer to still be useful/play, also what affect will the unit have on the internal Bose speakers and amplifier?

The original HU is part of the serial data bus and anti theft system. You'll need a Metra GMOS-06 integration module, and a separate module to retain steering wheel controls, if the new HU is compatible.

Do you have a base or Bose system?

The HU is just a control unit and receiver. Sound quality of the Bose system won't be affected (other than equalization settings).

I'm not sure if the stock changer will still be functional.

Re: 2004 CADILLAC DEVILLE BASE - NEW GPS RADIO ADVICE? (Cars name is Maria)

Thanks MC, It is a Bose system. Wow one reply in 24 hours, I just knew someone would at least go off topic about the name of the car

No aftermarket HU you use will allow the 6 cd changer to work.
