    Fuel pump issues?

I'm driving my 91 deville. It used to only stutter a lil when u first get on the freeway . Now sometimes at 30mph n the city the car acts like it doesn't want to go when I hit the gas . Im scared to drive it now cause yesterday it act like it wanted to cut off almost and it has about 10 gallons of gas in it currently . Also the check engine soon light came on yesterday . First time I have seen this . Hopefully it's telling me about the fuel pump issues.

If the check engine light is on you have a DTC stored. Pull them, then post them AND their definitions. See the DTC Sticky at the top of the forum page if you need help.

How old are the plugs, wires, cap & rotor?

In that case, if the fuel pressure checks out, you might start with a new cap, rotor, plugs and wires.

There are no codes that indicate you need a tune up. What codes were current?

    They're meaningless without definitions.
