    Monroe AK29 Air Kit Manual Conversion

    Hey guys, this Monroe AK29 kit works great

    took me about 20mins and my shocks lifted the rear and held air

    there's no rub on the tires with weight in the back anymore and it looks great... um, to me

    took pics and videos of the whole fix and finish

    you have WAY too much air in them -
    the car should sit level - NOT jacked-up in the rear -

    yep - push on the core - just like deflating a tire -

    the factory shocks are designed to have a MINIMUM of 14PSI - and a MAX of 90 PSI -

    They're at 160psi

    Thought that might be wrong

    The little compressor shut off @ 160psi
    Guess that's all it could do
    I let it down to where the tread meets the trim of the wheel wel
    Ima check the PSI here in a min

    I didn't think they could take that much or the compressor could put out that much.

    For some reason I think I remember seeing 110 PSI when looking through the test procedure in the FSM.

    Doesn't the front have similar air ride level control???

    If so, can I use the same kit for the front???
