Read the cooling system sticky posts in Engines, Northstar Performance. Google "cadillac forums 2000 deville radiator replacement" or something close. Look through the pages of Discussions, Item Specific: Cadillac Tech Tips.

Study up on purge lines and proper cooling system fill procedures. Check coolant level cod, never hot. Surge tank 1/2 full.

Install a new surge tank pressure cap.

......... and, when you're finished, make sure the upper radiator hose is properly clipped to the support brace or it will chafe on the engine and eventually burst.

    Valve caps aren't difficult!

    .....

Everything else is, though. I'll go sit in the corner.
