    Spooky Sedan Seats

Either my seats are moving on their own while I'm not in the car, or someone is crawling in there and messing with them at night. Since my doors are locked, the latter is improbable. The driver's in the sedan seat always lowers by itself after the car has been vacant. What the heck is going on?

Sounds like the auto seat is turned on, when you leave the car it can go to the exit position and then when you press unlock with the fob it moves back. You can check if this is on or off by scrolling through the DIC until you get to feature programing and hit on. Scroll through the options until you find what you want and hit the on/off button.

No driver memory or personalization in her cars.

Oops I keep getting 2000+ devilles in my head and I can't see the cars with the Android app like I could with IPhone.

    Ah.

Faith, are you sure the seat isn't creeping down while driving, and you're not noticing until you get back in?

    Re: Spooky Sedan Seats

Once in awhile my 98 seat would fully recline on its own over-night and I'd wake up to it like that. It had memory seats so as soon as I pushed the button it would return to normal. I never paid it much mind.

This is possible too. Either way, it's creepy!

Only you can know what ghosts haunt you...

More seriously, does your seat move at all during (spirited) driving? If so, the adjuster could perhaps be stripped. Alternatively, perhaps some corrosion has found its way into the controller and it's constantly slowly moving.

Easy answer is just to point a video camera at the car for one night? Who knows, maybe you have a neighborhood hooligan?

That's what I was getting at. Have a heavy friend to sit down and bounce up and down a bit? Or have them sit down, put the seat all the way down, and then try and put it up. If it clicks, it's stripped.

I don;t do any spirited driving, I drive like a granny all the time. I bet I could round up a fat friend or two that would be willing to drive though!

    Creepy seat update

The drivers seat does seem to be very slowly creeping down while I'm driving, as well. Also, sometimes when I move the seat forward, it wont go back until I push on the floor with me feet, stop, then try again. Is there a was to fix it?
