Windows are NOT fused! they are powered thru a circuit breaker. All the power goes to the drivers switch and from there to the other 3 switches. I would pull the driver switch up and verify power is getting to the driver switch as a first step. If no power then it could be a broken wire at the door hinges. The wiring passes thru from the body to the door in a covered conduit. Sometimes wiggling this conduit can cause the windows to start working which would confirm a partially broken wire there.

TY for your reply, I am pretty vehicle illiterate, lol, hence the fuse vs. breaker, I am glad you were able to understand what I meant. I will tell my husband to do all you have said. This is my son's first car, mechanically, minus the windows and no a/c, it seems to be a good car. Cosmetically in good shape, it is worth putting the money into it to restore it. He paid $600.00.

    Simillar problem:
All Electric Windows: On my 92, each operator operated its own window, but the master would also only operate its own. I pulled out the switch and found power to all switches, all switch Ohmed well when pressed, and I jumped a couple with no change. Put it back together to meditate. Now, NONE of the windows operate from the master or from their own switch. Still have power to the master (the only one I have looked at). The lockout switch is off and its indicator light is out. Wassup? Can the lockout relay affect the driver's window?

lockout doesn't affect the drivers side. If the Windows worked, then you touched it and now they don't work. That indicates something you touched changed something. I'd check for loose contacts or faulty wires. Maybe a wire inside the insulation is sheared where you cannot see it. Maybe wiggle the wires or slightly adjust them and try using the switches.

If they work when holding the wires a certain way that is valuable info to know...

Thanks dchavezo. It all went so beautiful: the panel came up, I didn't break anything or have to pull on any wires, and there were no sparks, I thought I had it made. In response to your response: There is no visible damage/crimped wires, connections look pristine, and I have not yet gotten any partial "on" when wiggling or anything. I am going to look at the relay next time it is daylight while I'm home, but I can't see how it fits in here. Does the master window wiring run from the switch directly to the motor, or does it leave the door and come back?

My buddy at work steered me right: if you have power but no action, check the grounds. The black wire (ground) had slipped in its plastic channel. I placed it properly, and now I have control of all windows at their own door, and the master also runs LtRr up/down and RtFt down only. I suppose just some cleaning will fix the rest, but am calling it a win for now. On to codes...
