    How hard to replace heater core on 98 deville ?? Or best left to a mechanic ?

    20 mins. My wife can do it.
    The toughest part is getting the hoses off.

    20 min's for a heater core? WOW! COOL! I recently traded my 99 F150 for a 99 DeVille. My F150 had the heater core bypassed because it was a 6 hour job @ $95 an hour + parts, couldn't afford it so I bypassed it.
    With all the trouble I'm having with the new Caddy ( Caddy = a car driven by pimps LOL ), I'm happy to know if I ever have a heater core problem it's an easy fix for my 99 pimp ride
