2005 Deville rear seat removal. Really need help.

I've searched all over and I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm trying to replace the subwoofer so I need to remove the rear seat. The bottom was a no-brainer but I just can't get the seatback out. I've found the two bolts at the bottom that hold the seatback in place as well as anchor the buckles and everything I have read says to pull out and up but it wont let go at the top of the seat back. From the trunk I see two bolts that look like they are connected to the clips on the rear of the seatback but these are nearly impossible to get at. Do those have to be romoved to get this thing out of the car? I'm dying here in Florida heat and I just need some help!

There are 4 clips along the top edge of the seatback that must be disengaged by pressing down on the top of them with a screwdriver. Stick a long, slim flathead screwdriver between the seatback and rear shelf. Start at one side, slide it sideways until you feel a clip, then pull it out slightly, and push down on the top of the clip while pulling the seatback forward slightly.
