93 Coupe Deville A/C leak line going to the compressor.

I retrofitted my car to 134a, changed the accumulator, compressor oil, vacuumed the system and charged it back up. I knew there was a leak before I did all of these and the compressor was changed a while back. While changing the o rings, I noticed that the gaskets on the lines that were going to the compressor were not normal o rings, but think metal gaskets with a little rubber on them. I called everyone parts store, the dealer and they don't make them anymore. Luckily one of the techs there had a few in his tool box. It looked slightly different but I used it and now have a leak there. I think when the previous owner got the compressor changed, the mechanic there didn't change the gasket because they don't make them anymore so I'm guessing that's where the previous leak was as well. Is there anything I can do? Modify the old gasket to be used again? I'm really stuck on this. Thanks for the help!

Those seals can not be reused. they have to be changed each time the manifold piece is removed. Try Chris over there @ Rippy Cadillac >>>>>
Or check rockauto.com it is listed as a compressor gasket. Measure yours to compare for size.

My old instructor from my tech school had a bunch to spare. Gave me a hand full and I matched them up. Thanks for your help!
