    Power Steer Pully & PCM-BCM Computer where

    Please tell me what can cause p/steering pulley to break/crack? The p-steering pump moves without to much resist.
    Where it the computer in 1991 deville I want to check the connection?

    Are you sure the pump is moving or could it be seized and just the pulley is spinning on the shaft?

    I think the PCM is behind the glove box.

    I turned the ps pump and it was not hard to turn. I have p-steer pump and ned puly put on. Seems to have been the problem. Thanks I will check for PCM.

    Yes its behind the glove, but best access is through the bottom hush panel. one 10 millimeter nut holding it in place. loosen nut and push up and pull ECM out far enough to remove the connectors if needed. its hidden all the way by the firewall. the BCM is to the left of the glove box towards the top.

    if you're going to be poking around. it would be a good idea to disable the airbags temporarily. by remove the fuse temporarily and installing it back when you're done.

    Another question, on the left side of engine standing in front of car next to th ep-sterr pump there is a L shaped hose that goes form the p/steer reservoir tank downard onto a metal hose. The connection is leaking is there a special clip hose or somthing.
