    2002 DHS mirror

Is the "shell" of a left side mirror the same from on a deville vs DHS or DTS. I cracked the black shell and the triangular part that mounts the mirror to the car. If I get an deville side shell/housing and put my motor and glass into it will it be the same as my DHS mirror.

No sense doing all the extra work. A salvage yard won't sell mirrors in parts in most cases anyway. All Deville mirrors are physically, the only difference is the turn signal in the glass for '03+.

Pop your glass and save it. I have one sitting on the shelf in the garage.................which of coarse insures I will never need it.

Next time place a piece of 2x4 across it so you press on the glass frame vs the glass itself.

Not true, his DHS has memory. The cars with memory have the position sensors built into the motor assembly.

I've personally never seen a base without memory, but yes, the new mirror would have to have the same features.

I used to own a base 01 Deville without memory, and my son has an 01 Deville without memory also.
