You have to reset the OLM, the car doesn't know you changed the oil.

Scroll to the OLM readout, hold reset until it does.

Re: 94 cadillac concours change oil

Your car does not have "air ride". The message does not say "air ride". Pull your diagnostic trouble codes from the car's built-in scanner/memory. Use the sticky post just above for the proper year, car, and button sequence for your OBD-1 system. Then use the link provided to decipher any codes found.

The only "air" your suspension uses in for the auxiliary bladders on the rear shocks to control rear ride height changes resulting from extra weight in the trunk or back seat. Google "cadillac forums 1994 deville electronic level control". It's a height sensor - compressor system.

"Service suspension system" is totally different from the ELC.

What do you mean you "just put in 5 quarts"? Did you change the oil? Your engine takes 7.5 quarts from empty with an oil/filter change.

Or did the light come on and you dumped in 5 quarts?

Add another 2 qts and the oil level message will disappear. The store dude does not know this engine.

That's why you need a manual. Always look at the fluid capacities section before attempting any fluid change. The store dude probably thinks your engine is as big as the one he has in his Honda Civic

Trust your manual and the guys at this forum, and not what a store dude tells you.
