I'm in the wrong business if they're charging that much...
I've charged less for used motor and installing...

Re: Deville 94 4.9 p030 rough idle stalling backfire

So after $1,077 in repairs fuel pump replaced at the price of the part costing $488 and then the reciving unit along with brake lines changed along with being bleed.
Now after all this I get my car back the person didn't even put my fuel pressure cap back and left it on top of my air filter cover and now I have the code p046 along with the check engine light.

    At least it runs!
Now I think the person may have messed with my fuel injectors so they may not all be on properly.
Because I once had the fuel injectors fixed before and fixed my misfire at 45 mph and up by changing out the fuel injectors which caused the p046 code to go away and fix the fuel imbalance.

Now that problem is back with the check engine light is on along with p046 right to left fuel difference.
Could this also be caused by a bad o2 sensor going bad?
Because there are signs that one of my o2 sensor is acting up every now and again.
I've had the code for p044 last month I believe it lasted intermittently for 3 days on and off before it cleared up.

About the only thing someone could do to your fuel injectors is disconnect one or more of them, but they have nothing to do with changing the fuel pump and in fact are at the opposite end so it can't even be accidental.

Now that problem is back with the check engine light is on along with p046 right to left fuel difference.
Could this also be caused by a bad o2 sensor going bad?
Yes. Might check for a vacuum leak.
