    Question Oxygen Sensor - P0141 & P0036

    Hello. I have a 2000 Deville that has the following current codes:

    P0141C HO2S Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 2
    P0036C Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Heater Control Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2

    I'll reset them and they'll reappear fairly shortly (anywhere from a few minutes to a couple hours of driving).

    I've done some research on this great forum and would like to confirm that "Bank 1 sensor 2" is the sensor on the passenger side - post catalytic converter.

    I believe the following part should be the correct replacement?
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

    Thank-you in advance for any assistance.

    Correct, B1S2 is the post CAT sensor.

    FWIW, In the 2000 and later Northstar FWD setups,

    B2S1 = left (front) bank exhaust collector sensor
    B1S1 = Right (rear) bank exhaust manifold top center
    B1S2 = After-cat sensor.

    When removing heat shields and replacing O2 sensors do NOT kink or twist the O2 sensor wiring pigtail.
