    Re: 1994 Sedan Deville Con.

Let's put this question in its own thread instead of using an 8 year old dead thread as the launch ............

How about we move this to Deville in a "1994 Deville transmission and suspension problems" thread ??

    Sub did it for you.

Whether or not it is worth fixing is pretty much a personal question that only you can answer depending on the condition and your attachment to it. Financially it could be a stretch. Compare the value to the cost of repair and go from there.

You could buy another 1994 DeVille for about the price of a transmission.
Then you can repurpose the broken DeVille to parts mobile

a trans is going to cost around $2500 -
is the rest of the car worth investing that much money?

The serpentine belt I changed. The suspension Whenever I hit a porthole u feel it and u get a loud bang. The back of the car hits because its low due to the suspension or the shocks being shot.

Yes I like the car but no real attachment to it.

Just want to say thank you all for helping out so far. Really appreciate it.

Re: 1994 Deville transmission and suspension problems

Id price out getting a used transmission put in vs rebuilding. It comes down to the condition of the car. If it's in good shape go for it, you could replace it with another Deville the same age and end up with the same problem all over again.
