    New Deville owner

I just purchased a 2002 Deville with 110996 miles. It has some issues But since I have owned an older BMW the Caddie should be piece of cake to get back into fighting shape.
I did a bunch of research before I bought her and this message board was the one with the most answers, so here I am
I bought it not running for a song...

First issue was a tumbler was stuck. I fixed that right after I bought it, the previous owner was a little mad that I drove it away. The price would have been much higher had she figured that one out.

Second issue is rough running and P0300, P0171, P0174 codes. Intake manifold gasket and plenum boot. (I can hear the vacuum leak at the plenum boot. Found the intake manifold gasket leak by spraying everything under-hood with brake cleaner. Rock-auto to the rescue!

Third issue is the rear air ride isn't working. I bought new shocks off of Rock auto and a used compressor from a local salvage yard (came with all the air line I can pull too)

Fourth issue is the rear window don't work. Passenger side motor is good but track and stuff is mangled, passenger side???? Haven't taken the door panel off yet.

Fifth issue is the paint is looking like the last 5 years haven't shown it any love or wax.... and the headlights are starting to go yellow.

Trans shifts smoothly, A/c is ice cold, factory tunes work well, and leather is in good repair (needs a good DEEP cleaning)

Read through a few. Got the reset for the service indicators.

Changed the bellows, intake gaskets, and rear shocks. (had to patch one of the air lines it was twisted into two pieces, vacuum line and super glue to the rescue!)
completely different car now. runs great, rides even better.
