    Transmission Overdrive Flutter

    A problem has developed with my '94 Concours (Northstar) that when it kicks down into overdrive at 45mph or so, it starts to flutter, almost feeling like a hesitation. As I increase in speed or give it some gas it goes away. But it's getting more pronounced. There are no error codes showing.
    I also had a lifter stick last week. I started that car and it made terrible noises and vibration. I had it towed and my mechanic let it run a few minutes and lifter came back up and has operated normally since then.
    Any advice on these two problems would be much appreciated. Thanks
