1987 Fleetwood D'Elegence Blower motor
My 1987 Cadillac Fleetwood blower motor runs constantly. It will not shut off.
It has the electronic heater control unit.
Also the check engine light is on.

Your blower control module is blown. It sits atop the evaporator housing near the center of the car just below the windshield. It is held in with 3 screws and has 2 connectors on it. If you remove these connectors the blower will stop. These usually fail when the blower motor gets old and worn. The blower starts to draw too much current for the module to handle. I recommend replacing both the module and the blower or your new module (expensive) won't last very long.
