    Tach and Cruise Control

I have a 1992 Cadillac Deville. I am trying to figure out if their is a way to add a water temperature tach and an oil pressure tach without removing the old sensors. I really don't want to remove the old sensors. I actually will not most likely remove them anyways. I just can't figure out if their is some where I can install the tachs at. My next question is my cruise control will not work I tried setting the switch on it doesn't work. The Orange and green light does not come on. I tried setting it at every speed it doesn't work at all. I tried to see I'd their was codes their was none. I checked the fuses they were all good. That is how far I have gotten so far any suggestions. Thanks

a TACH is a gauge that displays the engine RPM when running -

if you are asking if there is a way to connect a coolant temp GAUGE -
and oil pressure GAUGE - WITHOUT disabling the original sensors -
the answer is YES and NO -

you would have to remove the original sensor -
and install the proper size "T" fitting -
THEN re-install the original sensor -
AND the new "sending unit" for the new gauge -

If you would like I could try and e-mail you the procedure for checking the CC switch per ALL-DATA. Also how did you check the fuses? Did you visually inspect them or use a test light?

I visually checked them and ohm them out and I also took a volt meter and tested that way. If you could send me the directions that would be great. My email is ssilberholz@hotmail dot com thanks.
