    Dash cluster problem

I have a 96 Deville. The digital cluster has been going out. It will go out and stay for awhile then come back on. Sometimes when I start the car it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it stays on for several days, or it might go out after several miles. It only affects the center part of the display. The temp controls on the right and the milage display in the left are OK. Since this appears to be an intermitant problem my question is: is there a relay that could be loose or bad. If so, where would it be located.

No relay. The temp and fuel buttons are separate modules from IPC. Your display is more than likely going out.
If it was not getting power at all you'd be having other problems too.
