    vss help please

hello all, I am new here. I have a 92 deville that is having speedo issues, and shifting erraticly. I figured it was the output speed sensor. I installed a new sensor but the problem still exists. I think the wires from computer to sensor are the next thing to check. Any help on which wires and location would be much appreciated.

Wrong forum, your Deville is FWD. A mod will move your thread for you.

Get it up on stands, pull the right front wheel, remove the plastic rivets holding the rear flap around the steering link and speed sensor harness, (I usually take the plastic piece covering front engine damper off also).. Pay attention to wiring above the speed sensor and where the harness goes up along front of engine.
